Thanks everyone for your suggestions and kind words :huggy: Right now he's doing ok, doesn't seem to be in any pain at the moment. I'll update once I figure out where we're going and what we're doing.

Methodically disorganized
I reckon I am missing something, but... if this thing is a mass... and they don't know what it is... why not biopsy it?

It does sound silly that they included things like dental work when you simply wanted to know what it will cost to fix the foot problem.

Best of luck picking the next vet and getting the problem relieved.

Tidewater is awesome too!!! :yay: Dr. Benedict takes great care of our horses. :buddies:

:yeahthat:

We love Dr Benedict for our dogs and cats, of course I haven't been disappointed by any of the vets at Tidewater. Dr Benedict, Dr Tacia and all the techs helped save a pom for us.

I also really like Dr Sallie Morris at Rock Gorge in Laurel MD it is a hike, but she is a great vet and surgeon. Her bedside manner isn't always top notch, but her care for your pet is outstanding.

I use all kinds in callaway but sometimes there prices can be outrageous (sp). I know for our female dogs spay it was close to 400.00. I could have gotten it done at wellpet for 150.00 but my mom wanted the vet we know and like to do the surgery. The 2 vets I like there are dr. autumn terry and dr. schad they are both very good with the animals. Everytime I bring bruno in she has a conversation with her which I think is kind of cute.
