Mine is an American Eskimo, might be a mix, not sure as he was a rescue. He's very smart, very sweet, barks too much!

Well, leave it to a bunch of small town rednecks not to know a good dog when they see it, But out of about 15 or so dogs, Tasha didnt win. I think first place went to a really small dog, blink and youd miss seeing this dog, thats how tiny is was, and second place went to one of those great big poodles who needed a fresh haircut. Oh well, next year we will enter again and go for the tricks catagory, in our goodies bag was a frissbee and Tasha loves it. She can almost catch it in her mouth, she saw that cattle dog at the show and now wants to be one.:lmao: And next yr the cats going as there was only 4 cats and fatty Charlie would have kicked all their asses to the curb. Maybe Ill dress him in a tuxedo for the contest next year. Anyway, thats how it went. Till next year.......

I always had labs... when I lost my yellow lab Kandi.. I decided I couldn't bear to get another yellow lab... so ended up with "crazy chow dog" Actually.. he is a mix german spitz & chow, adopted from ARF!
I would love to see what his siblings grew up to look like!

Next dog? umm maybe a french bulldog

I bowl overhand
But seriously. When stationed in Ft Knox I saw an add for "Large Breed Beagles - $25"

We travelled out and got Skippy as a puppy that could fit in the palm of my hand.. she had 3 at that price to chose from and he connected with us right away. We did notice he had a hernia, but it was instant love.

He turned out to be the smartest, most loyal dog I've ever had. Show him something once he had it.. and don't EVEN try to get into my house without me in there, or touch my baby girl(only one at the time). The baby could reach in his mouth and take out food, I even caught her once pulling on his tongue.. and he just sat there and took it.

We found out at a vet appointment about a year after we got him that he was an American Foxhound. Woman that sold him was breeding purebreds, but apparently with the hernia he was worthless as a 'purebred'.. good for me!

I has a beautiful and very good Poodle/watchdog and a Min Pin that I have had for years. Their days with me are getting shorter. I don't want to think about it. :sniff:
