What are the grounds here for a search of the home? What judge signed off on this?
On the other hand, the money he's likely to collect from the lawsuit will go a bit further than his paltry teacher's salary.

I never really heard the term of an author who used a pen name or Nom de Plume , called an alias. But I suppose technically it is.
I have read many books believe it or not and some of them were a bit gruesome--about murders about Nuclear plots--even assasinations.
Are we supposed to assume because someone writes a book about murder, that the person that wrote it is a murderer?
Do we assume that a person that writes a book about an assasination plot is an assassin.
Over react much?? Good title. I too believe this man will make a few bucks off the law suit, and then write a book about the fools who fired him and make even more.

Right, but if that teacher did go on a shooting rampage the rabble would lose their "minds", gnashing their teeth and blaming the school for not doing anything when they knew he'd written those books.

I sure do hate to be placed in with that rabble. I don't want the NSA screwing around with my privacy, I don't want the Obamacare screwing around with my health records.

Is that what you get from my response? Wow...talk about over reacting. Maybe reading isn't your strong point. I said you don't have all the information. You are one of those easily led by the press. They need to make things sensational in order to sell papers and advertisments.
In order to conduct an emergency petition you have to have information that leads one to believe the person is an imminent threat to themselves or others. I don't know a cop who would believe this from any book written, so therefore because the story doesn't expressly state that was the reason for his petition, I believe the cops have much more information than does the press. Now, because this issue is a hippa protected issue, the cops aren't going to release that information.
Lemmings such as yourself, who should know better, however will bite at the apple and suck in all the mis-information the press gives you.
