So here's what happened:

A reporter cornered Martha McSally and started asking her questions. She replied, "You're a liberal hack and I'm not talking to you." The reporter tweeted about this and set the rage mob to raging. This rather mundane exchange has been called "an attack", a "vile performance", and a "chilling insult."

"Chilling insult" :roflmao:

Of course they are DEMANDING!!!!! an apology.

McSally responded: “CNN should probably file FEC reports for their DNC contributions.”

Now they're pissed because they can't intimidate the fighter pilot.....

EDIT: today they called it a "nasty meltdown"

:roflmao:

This is the melodramatic child throwing themselves on the floor!

Perhaps the media organizations can start a program to issue them Purple Hearts for their injured feelings!

Or just hand these out...

Ilhan Omar jumped in Manu's crap just last year. I don't recall any calls for apologies from that episode.

But she was just refusing to answer questions in a rude tone. She didn't slander a Washington reporter who is highly respected on both sides of the aisle. This is far beneath the dignity of a sitting US senator. But we should probably cut her some slack, she's under a lot of pressure. Things are not exactly going her way in her reelection campaign. Mark Kelly is currently leading her by 4 points.

Just to point out the stunningly obvious:

1. She wasn't "cornered"...she was asked a simple single question as she walked down a hallway flanked by two staffers

2. The question was "Senator McSally, should the Senate consider new evidence as part of the impeachment trial?" That was it.

3. The response you posted was the only thing you got correct.

4. Senator McSally couldn't, wouldn't or is just too ravingly stupid to answer the same question when posed by the right wing hack Laura Ingrahm on Fox Go to about the 7:20 mark.

So the story is quite different than the one you posted....but that is nothing new, now is it spitbubble.

"Slander". :lmao: When you see the word slander in the dictionary the CNN logo is right next to it. I don't suppose you think CNN is far beneath the dignity of honest reporting?
