PARIS Hilton could be forced to join a "chain gang" because overcrowding in Los Angeles jails mean the hotel heiress might not be able to serve her 45-day sentence in prison.

Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, in charge of the US's only "all-female chain gang", says he's spoken to the chief of jails in Los Angeles and offered to house Hilton at Tent City in Arizona.

They should have put JPC on a chain gang. Maybe then he would have learned how to work.
:yay: I feel very sorry for Paris Hilton and the sentence does not fit the crime.

She is a foolish little rich girl and jail will hurt her terribly.

I pray that it does not happen to her. :drama:

What would be an appropriate sentence for someone that place the public in danger by driving drunk, loses their license and gets a SUSPENDED jail sentence and then drives in violation of their probation?
It's not like she couldn't afford to hire a driver or take a cab.

Great, now you want to pick and choose which laws to enforce and completely ignore sentencing guidelines and turn the other cheek to a drunk driver who already was given a second chance with a suspended sentence. Not very admirable for someone who professes to be the best choice in this district to become a member of the Legislative Branch of the U.S. Government. I can only imaging what bills you would introduce. :killingme

She's endangered her community, not just a foolish little girl.

Did it ever occur to you jail is SUPPOSED to hurt? Look up the word "deterrent".

Don't forget she showed up late for court and she and her mama trashed the judge! :bawl:
