NBC is reporting that it's for medical reasons and she has home detention with a bracelet.

I just heard on the news that Paris cut a deal and will be on house arrest for 40 days.

She definitely got off easy!!!

Fox news just announced that Paris will serve the rest of her sentence at home. What a crock of ####!! And I guess I could have saved the time typing this because everyone else beat me to it.

It was a horrible thing to do to the poor woman.

You realize she was driving drunk and could have killed someone.
Right?

You realize this is a crime, right? And not some hidden obscure law that nobody knows about.. it's a highly publicized and hyped up law with reminders on TV and radio at all hours of the day and night.

And you say its horrible to put her in jail to serve time for a DELIBERATE AND REPEATED crime?

And you have the NERVE to use "Personal Responsibility" as one of your tag lines.

You, sir, do not know the MEANING of personal responsiblity.

Your sense of values is so unbelievably, phenomenally, unfathomably, incredibly skewed, I cannot begin to imagine what goes through your head besides air.

And if that was one of us everyday type folks, we would have gotten a 2 year sentence or the max the judge could give. As far as JPC is concerned, just put him on ignore and you won't have a problem.

BadGirl

I am so very blessed
So much for taking her punishment and using her time to reflect on her life and how she can make this world a better place.

So much for any shred or a semblance of justice. What a farce.

:jameo: I just pray that they lower it from 40 days to 10 days or even 5 days.

She does not need to be treated that way for 40 days.

This Paris Hilton drama is really stressing me out. :tantrum

Perhaps Paris is smarter than we realize..all she did was refuse to eat the food that everyone was able to eat.. and she starved her skinny little self...and got sick..thus the "Medical" excuse.

Knew she coouldnt do it..what a wimp..now the rest of those jailed can get out by not eating the food too!!

What a crock of Hollywood BS.....She otta be cut off from the Hilton $$$$$.`
