I've understood "evangelical" to mean spreading the Word and "fundamentalist" to mean a literal reading of the Bible. Similarly, Wikipedia notes that only some Dominionists advocate theocracy, while others simply believe that Christians should be active in politics. I think ALL movements have that kind of diversity that is not always understood from the outside.Railroad said:I don't describe myself as a "fundie" or an evangelical, either, but I figure most non-Christians lump the more conservative Christians together under one umbrella, so I put myself in that category for purposes of this discussion.
