Patient First in Waldorf

A. I have been on an HSA plan under Kaiser Perm. for about two years...spent WAY too much on glasses there and wife is unhappy with billing & over 128.00 for a sports physical: Needless to say: I don't want to go there (ever). They have no intention to actually move into So md, and Camp Springs is WAY to inconvenient to get to....

B. So,...two of the fam have persistant coughs that have lingered for three weeks. I have threatened to take them to Patient First clinic in Waldorf:

Any experiences with their service/cost?

Their billing department sucks.

Better than the emergency room if you need to get stitches from a minor head injury on a Saturday night.

I went there last year for a fracture in my foot when I was away from home (I lived in NC at the time). I went on a Sunday afternoon and had very little wait. The staff was courteous and helpful. I can't speak for billing because my insurance took care of it and I never saw a bill.

Make sure they not only accept your insurance but participate as a provider or this can cost you in the long run.

I had used Patient First as my main health provider since they first opened, up until I moved from Waldorf a few months ago. I have zero complaints at all. One stop shopping for primary, non-emergency healthcare.

Highly recommended.

Most of the time you can get seen pretty quickly, I go there a lot so I dont have to drive to my main doctor which is still in Alexandria VA..I lived in NOVA before moving to Waldorf 6 years ago. I have had not one issue with billing at patient first and I have seen numerous doctors there, all have been great! They are busiest on mondays, and least busiest on thursdays and sundays from my experience going there.
