I know that silly. Don't you have work to do or are you done?
Aren't you trying to get permission to go watch SBK play ball tonight... I wouldn't be talking to her like that if I were you...:bubble:

No, they have a new building back at gate 3 of Pax. Still haven't moved in yet. Not sure when they are coming down here. I had heard its like 200-300 people for it. So we will see.
Depends on what part of the guard it is.. if it's a HQ building, you could have a bunch of full timers, if it's just a unit, you could have all of three or four full timers, with the units 300 - 400 personnell showing up one week-end a month.

Last year they discussed Webster blending with Norfolk. It was decided that was not cost efficient.
And yes, the National Guard was offered space at Webster and will be moving there. They originally approached Pax River and may also have some space there near Gate 3. They will be constructing a hangar near the front gate of Webster.

The point is last year Steny was "I will make this happen", this year he's not. To me it means the deal is already done, just like its already done before he "saves" us.
I understand they are moving onto the abandoned taxiway.. right inside the front gate to Webster.

It will likely mean a loss of 3,000 to 4,000 jobs for Southern Maryland. Contractors may have to reduce by 25 percent and there may be some civilian positions becoming available. It may even mean a 25 percent cut with five percent being hired back in Civil Service, one insider told The Bay Net. Also, there’s the possibility that those who retain their jobs will be obliged to accept pay-cuts.
Strange. Usually they cut back civil service and replace them with contractors.
