Paying for a funeral.. NEED HELP/ADVICE

Um, they aren't cremated in the casket - just a box, but if you want a viewing first the have rental caskets.

Can you honestly reuse a casket? I thought that if someone were to be cremated, but requested a viewing, a casket still had to be purchased.

All I know is what we were offered. :shrug: Its only used for viewings, unavailable for burial.

I would suggest attempting to find a charity that deals with the exact type of cancer he had. That might make it easier to get the donations.

I looked into cremation when helping with funeral preparations and was told they do have rental coffins also.
