I used to get Smucker's Goobers.
My aunt used to get that for my cousin and me when we were kids. I never understood the concept, mainly for the reason you stated - not enough jelly.
I used to get Smucker's Goobers.
I used to get Smucker's Goobers. It has both PB and Jelly in the same container. Problem was there was never enough Jelly and I'd scrape the jelly from the side and eventually there was nothing but PB...
YES! After trying many of the PB's on the market, I've narrowed my fav's down to 2: Skippy's "Natural" PB and Smart Balance's Rich Roast. I try to stick with the most "natural" unprocessed brands and these 2 fit the bill overall. They have less than 3 or 4 ingredients and no HFCS or hydrogenated oils. Skippy has some sugar in theirs but not much. Since I usually eat it in very small increments and not in sandwiches, it's just right as a "sweet" IMO...Peanut butter cups....
Can you grind your own peanut butter at the Trader Joe's in Annapolis? I really really want to go up there but (a) driving 1.5 hours for snacks is slightly inappropriate and (b) I will get addicted and want to go up there once a week.
I don't know! I know you can grind your own PB at some TJ's locations but don't know any of the details. Can you???? Can you make flavors? I'm going to have to investigate this. Sounds like we should plan a visit and hit Ulta while we're up there!
I didn't used to like it either and I still won't eat PB sandwiches, but I have cultivated an intense love of peanut butter.
I don't do it anymore because I try to stay away from potato chips, but I used to put potato chips ON my peanut butter sandwich. (no jelly)
I still put Chips on my Peanut Butter, and just LOVE it. I know this sounds sickening, but make toast, put a thin coat of butter & Cream Cheese on one side, then Peanut Butter on the other side. What a great Sandwich, and treat that is.
