How long do you normally wait for your nails to dry after you get a manicure (in a nail salon)?

Why don't they do your nails first so that they can be drying while you get your toes done?

I go to Diamond Nails in Wildewood, and love those people. There were 5 guys that came in there yesterday afternoon for pedis. I offered to do one myself. He was sweeeet. Kenny laughed at me and said maybe he'd go for a full body massage, if I wanted to stay till after closing.

Sounds like everyone would be happy at the end

You can ask them to do it in that order if you want. After all, they are working for you!

I went to "Modern Nails Spa" today in Leonardtown by Salsa's. It was pretty decent. It was another Vietnam nail place. I got gel polish or something. It dried good and I didn't nick my polish!

While visiting baby sis recently, she took me for my first pedicure - now I'm addicted!

On Sunday, I tried to go to Kim's in Callaway. Sign said they opened at 11, I was there at 10:45 so decided to wait. Girl showed up at 11:12, the door was rushed by two mother/daughter groups. Since it appeared to be just one employee, I choose to go find somewhere else for my business.

Ended up at Essence Nails by K-Mart. The girl there was fabulous! She spent almost two hours on my tootsies, and painted them up sooooo perty!

I don't know much about nail salons, but I'd quickly recommend this one.

I was fortunate enough to stumble upon Essence as well. By far the best nail place I've ever been to. :yay:

Two hours?! Sounds like heaven. I love when Kim's is slow and they spend more time massaging as they get lost in the TV shows. Other times it feels like I'm in and out in 20 minutes.

May I ask how much they charged at Essence? At Kims I usually walk out playing $25-30 depending on if I got a design and how much I tipped.
