I'm sure there is thread about this somewhere but I searched and couldn't find what I needed. My sister's dog christened my carpet twice the last time I watched her and I cleaned it up with Pet Resolve. Lately I have still been smelling it and I wanted to know what products have you guys used that gets the smell out. I used Nature's Miracle and it didn't do the trick. I used to get a product called Kids and Pets from Target but they stopped carrying it. Any help would be apperciated.

Go to Petsmart and pick up a product made specifically for this problem... otherwise you are just "masking" the smell.

I had a cat pee in my car once. A friend told me to pour straight vinegar on it. I did it and my car really smelled pickled then but after the smell faded the cat smell was gone also. Should work on dog pee to.

go to k-mart and p/up a gallon of out! Pet Stain and oder Remover. its the only place that sells it in a gallon. Its about $11.00 and well worth it.
Effective on Urine,Vomit,Blood,Feces and More. I've been buying this stuff for years. It really works. I steam clean my carpets with this. has never failed me yet. If your pets pee on clothes throw them in the washer and add this to your wash. or wet in your car, it takes the smell out.
You have to buy it by the gallon? Your pets pee on your clothes also?
If this has been going on for years, I seriously don't think this is an occasional accident.

you might want to delete that post before someone reports you to PETA or the SPCA or something.

its really not the humane way to handle a pet problem you know

You buy it a gallon at a time? How often do you buy it? :faint:

Believe it or not, shaving cream works. I let it sit for just a few minutes and then rub it with a damp cloth.

all I was saying was that it works. I clean my floors with it. just makes the house smell good
not that i have a problem with my animals peeing in my house. they are train to go outside. my animals get the best of care. Its a great product to use on alot of things. was only trying to help and let someone know about a product that works. Oh and if anyone is worried about me taking care of my dogs, In august I took my rottie to the vet cuss she wasnt herself. I almost lost her.It cost me a $1000.00. I would of sold my house to save this animal. Prince Frederick animal hospital saved her life and am ever so greatfull

Don't let the ignorance get to you in here! Good for you for saving that Rottie! :flowers:

Ignorance? For commenting about her needing a gallon at a time of piss remover? Bite me and then suckle a little :smack:

oh and I have saved a fish AND a hamster from near death so you can take your rottie reward and shove it up your ass.

Good as a pet owner that is your responsibilty. You're not the only one who's had sick animals. No one said anything about you taking care of you animals. It was just commented on that they might piss in your house a little too much.
