Stop Staring!!!!!

Do ya see anything there looks looks to have been a bad decision??

As for the:
Nikon TC-17E II AF-S AF-I Teleconverter
http://www.penncamera.com/store/item.asp?ITEM_ID=5710&DEPARTMENT_ID=458
This wasn't in stock. On Order

They did not have it in stock but it's in the warehouse. The are bringing it from the Warehouse to the store and shiping from there.

This was really the only iten that raised a flag with the folks at the store. They did not recommend this one with the 70-200.

jbr13 recommended it when whe recommended it for the 80-200. So jbr, Is this one still a good way to go for me with the 70-200 as well? The folks up there said it tends to soften images quite a bit.

I can still cancell this and swap something else for it.

From what i saw, it looks like youhave your bases cover well for the type of shooting you want to do.

As for the teleconverter, i have been wanting to buy the same one to use on the same lens myself. Ive read quite a few reviews, looked at quite a few images made with that combo and it looks like it works pretty well. The 70-200 F/2.8 is one of the recommended lenses to be used with that TC, and one of four lenses that are fully functional actually.

Yep I have been looking into a few other lenses as well. Trying to go for the fully functional lenses as I figure they be the best for generic point & shoot stuff but most likely will bring the easiest to sell if there ever comes a time I wanna go for something better.

At this point I may backtrack and look at one of the wide angle lenses and also one of the Standard Zoom f/2.8s as well. Again, just pondering these at this point.

I have a feeling the TC-17E will do me just fine. I just want to bring it up as jbr had originally recommended it going under the assumption that I was going to get the 80-200 lense as opposed to the 70-200. Just wanted to make sure the same thinking still holds true. From your input It appears that it does. Thanks :yay:

They are going to ship it Monday I guess unless I call them and shut it down. So unless I see anything that makes me rethink this, the TC-17E will be the one I get. Already bought and paid for anyway.
