Pentagon City Mall... The Fashion Centre

Never been but that is where daughter wants to go the week after Christmas... is it hard to get to? Enough parking? I assume it's not a hoodlum mall like our closer malls have become... concur?

Let's discuss.

I haven't been in a few years..but it was nice the last time I was there. I take the Metro from work.

She got to spend a little time there when she spent a week in Vienna at the Forum for Criminal Law & CSI and now that where she wants to do her Christmas clothes shopping... I just hate going into a new place blind...:jameo:

I remember it had a lot of different stores than the local mall(s) and different styles..if that makes sense. I can't speak to parking because I've always been on the Metro, which might be a decent option for you. Although I'm not a huge fan of the Metro and if you get a lot, you have to fool with carrying all the bags.

Looks like you have to use parking garage(s).

That mall is awesome! Extremely pricey.

I don't think it's that pricey. They have a lot of decently priced stores but also have the higher end stores available.

Kwill,
I use to go there often when I worked in Crystal City and would go at least a couple times a month when my office moved to DC. They have a big garage if you're driving. Parking is fairly simple. If you're driving stop by Hops in the Potomac Yard shopping center for lunch or dinner (about a mile or so before you'll get off Rt. 1 to go to the mall, the shopping center with the Target), I've never had a bad meal there. I go every year after Christmas myself. They have a Sephora and a MAC store as well as a Body Shop. 3 of the best stores ever!

Cool! This is exactly the info I needed! She's not into designer brands, but she does want a different selection of clothing choices than what we have offered locally. Now I'm less apprehensive about parking and such, it should be a fun day!
