Pet Food Pantry is Stocked!

If you know of anyone needing dog food, the SMAWL Pet Food Pantry is well stocked thanks to the donation of 2,500 pounds of dog food this weekend (along with several bags also in stock thanks to generous donors). Those who are poor, low-income, recently laid-off, or simply facing economic challenges and need food to help them keep their pets in their home, versus surrendering to a shelter, are asked to call Animal Control at 301-475-8018 to request food. If they do not have transportation, Animal Control will do their best to bring the pet food to their home. Food can also be picked up at Animal Control in Leonardtown during normal county government operating hours of 8:30-4:30.
