We went to Petco today since it had the big banner that said grand opening plus it had lights on with people inside....... Turns out that they aren't open yet. It opens on October 23rd and grand opening is on the 28th. I don't think it was a good idea to have that sign up until thy were actually open....

It look open..a lot of cars parked in front of the store, the lights on with people walking around inside and that big banner. I walked up and there is this little sign on a notebook sheet of paper stating that they aren't open yet.

Whoever did it was a genius.. got you to stop by and ask, and you in turn just gave them all of this free advertising, telling us when they DO open.. Word of mouth is sometimes worth millions.. so they more then made up for the cost of the sign..

I went by Sunday and again this afternoon; both times it was crowded in the parking lot so I didn't go in either time.

Maybe 2A & I will take Bear over for a snack one evening. He's never been in a store before, I wonder what he'll think with rows of toys and treats everywhere.

A lot of peeps had those muzzle type leashes on the dogs. Not sure if it was to keep them from biting or from eating all the treats

They really should have a sign up stating "If your dog licks it, you buy it"

I was working at Old Navy yesterday on setting up the store. When I had a moment to breathe, I did see lots of people at the store.

Old Navy opens up on Thursday for the public.

From what I hear, sometimes the doggies like to pee on things. And then that attracts the other doggies to pee on things. And then the other doggies. And so forth and so on. I MAY try to take my dog, but she is not nice to other dogs. Thinks she is a doberman or something.

I'm definitely not going there for clothes. Real gross. Maybe if I need a tablecloth or a dish or something. I wouldn't buy my friend Xmas presents in there. Feel like I need a shower when I get home.
