Pete's Midlife Crisis

It has come to my attention through a little birdie that Pete is going through his midlife crisis. Now, for the midlife crisis uneducated, this means two main things for a man and a whole series of small things:

1) Buying some slightly to really expensive motorized toy

and/or

2) Hooking up with a young little pretty thing (typically a woman, but we will leave it open to be PC)

3) A series of smaller attempts to feel young through athletic or adrenaline producing activities.

Now, we know Pete has been satisfying number 3 through TKD. What has also come to my attention is that Pete failed midlife crisis criterion #1, in quite a pathetic manner, and that this should be immediately forgotten by all because the story can only cause him great pain and emotional stress at this point. This only leaves him open to one criterion to satisfy being in full blown midlife crisis: Criterion #2.

So, we need applicants for the satisfy Pete's midlife crisis list. Please refer to item #2 above.

It's not a crisis  It's a mid-life realization.

FT, when you're old enough to have one, get back to us.

1. I did not fail, I was standing there with check in hand and decided it was not what I wanted. I have learned to be more discriminating.

2. Who says I don't?

3. And don't forget I can kick you up side the head

2. Who says I don't dream about it daily?

3. And don't forget I can kick you up side the head and because of this edit I definitely will, with many repetitions, the next time I see you.

Actually they are in the wrong order, if you have #2 you cannot afford #1 and #3.

Sure ya can...the #2's are usually too stupid to have good taste, so you get off cheap. Buy the Classic & you'll have all the #2's you want.... :patriot:

I'll tell ya when I got mine, I thought I wanted an Ultra Classic but while talking to the salesman, he pointed out the differences. What the Ultra Classic has that the Classic doesn't is: fiberglass lowers (removed during summer anyway), cruise control (do u really need it?), CB radio (see cruise control comment), passenger speakers (Crank it up!!), intercom connections (only used for long distance riding & I bought a set anyway I never have used). So for $2,500.00 less I went for the classic.

Not sure what the Road King costs but I'd recommend the Classic (you aint worried about $$ anyway :killingme). You get TONS of storage space with the tour pak & saddle bags and you get the am/fm/cd. I'm sure the comfort of the ride is comparable between the 2 bikes.

Either way you'll enjoy. I haven't regretted mine once!! 11K miles and not one repair needed (knock on wood). :yay:
