I'm with you on getting out of the McD's line. Now the Exxon station only sells crusty Krispy Kremes (unless you get there at 4:00 am).

I don't think a Dunkin' Donuts is going to happen, just like a BK or a Chick Fil-A isn't going to happen.

Apparently, some unwritten Calvert County thing, that no establishments can have red roofs. I didn't believe this until I looked around PF one day and realized that no buildings have red roofs (except for the KFC and it only has one little cap on its porch). Too funny...

WTF? is a "Red Roof" I just don't understand. That is just strange. :jameo:

A colored roof other than ordinary roofing materials (i.e., Pizza Hut?). Some of the chains have colored roofs. Normally, a KFC is all red.

The glazed Krispy Kremes are good when they're fresh - they melt in your mouth. But Dunkin Donuts has more variety.

Even a Krispy Kreme that is not "fresh" is great right out of the microwave for about 10 seconds.

Leave it to Calvert County to have a strange "law" like that. I don't know whether to call it a law or what.

The bakery in the old marketplace where Mom's In the Kitchen is located?

I believe that's where Wall's is. It's run by the offspring of the infamous owners of Wall's Bakery in Waldorf (Wigwam), which is now closed.

I hear the eclairs are to die for!

But they're open on the weekends. :yahoo: I keep forgetting about them being there. I'm definitely going to make a trip there soon!

I will definitely give them a try - but I keep comparing everything to Carlson's in Annapolis and I can't find an equal!

Even Chick 'n Ruth's sold Carlson's donuts. It was great when I worked downtown Annapolis - just not so great for my waistline!
