PG County Officer Killer Found Dead in Jail Cell

I don't know what to think..Huge conspiracy, involving numerous guards and prisoners??

That's what i was saying yesterday.

Too many witnesses that could have heard/ seen something irregular going on in ANY of the cells. No way would he be the only inmate in the prison on that day.

The press has already convicted the guards, and even raked them over the coals for asking for lawyers (you bet your ass I would be too if I was a guard there).

I can't see how anyone could hae gone into his cell and fought him, and strangled him to death without any witnesses (and do it silently).. especially witnesses that wouldn't hesitate to turn in a guard or a cop.

Even though he was a P.O.S. he was still due his rights. He wasnt afforded those rights so yes his Civil Rights were violated.

It can be said that Officer Finleys civil rights were violated in the criminal act by White for taking his life. One of the tenants of the Constitution is "LIFE, liberty and the pursuit of happiness". The POS took all those away from Officer Finley...

Well I have been to McDonald's, which has inmates anyway and they don't serve lunch that early.

Why would any place serve lunch in the 10 O'clock hour, is it realistic to think that all the inmates are gone for lunch at 1030? I don't know, not to me.

I would assume if it was a maximum security wing they were holding him in, ALL of them in that "block" would be too, not just HIS cell. I would also assume you don't let maximum security prisoners go to a dining room to eat lunch, or gather together anywhere outside of their cells.

MAYBE the coroner is wrong? Who is the Coroner? What's his background? Coroners have been wrong before, maybe we should get a second opinion.

He was in solitary confinement. The cells in solitary confinment do not have any windows on the doors. You can not see who walks past your cell.

Show me a picture.. because all of the prisons I've been into that have been built in the last 15 - 20 years all had glass doors, so the guard sitting in the middle of the floor could see 100% of the interior of EVERY cell.

Solitary doesn't necessarily mean sensory deprivation, usually it just means you are in a cell by yourself.

I can't find a picture of the inside of a prison to show you what I mean, and I have No idea when the PG prison was built or what it's design, but I assume with the amount of prisoners they'd have to have upgraded in the past five years or so.

Oh no, it stated they have a small window and lunch slot on the door. Therefore they weren't all out for lunch...

Once again, for the slow, i'm not defending the POS killing the Cop.

But no matter whether he was a POS or not, he was in the Custody of Law Enforcement in isolation (by himself). The story as the information has been released, lends you to believe that a Law Enforcement individual (either Cop or Gaurd) decided to enact vigilante justice on him.

Unfortunately for Finley, (in my opinion)that is a larger story, that someone tasked with upholding and defending the law, decided they would meet justice upon White, without due process.

I believe the most high schools start serving lunch about that time. Probably for the same reason, not everyone can eat at the same time, so they have to stagger it out. It wouldn't be unreasonable for those who have food delivered to their cell to be served earlier than the rest, so the cafeteria workers are all covering the cafeteria when most of the inmates are there.

Since i have no clue what the interior of a prison looks like, my opinion is based on the TV. I took Solitary to mean what ha been portrayed, an isolated Cell, solid walls seperating neighbors, with a small window in the door.

If what your describing is true, are the walls between Neighbors solid (think Silence of the Lambs)? is it feasible that there wasnt anyone in a neighboring cell as such wouldnt have heard anything out of the ordinary?

What I've seen on the inside of a prison (modern prison) they are built on a half circle or 3/4 circle. Cops sit at a desk in the middle, sometimes in a secure room, sometimes just like a nurses station in an ICU.

From the desk they can see directly into every cell, and see every interior inch of the cell, and have to do no more than turn their heads a 1/4 turn in each direction to see 100% of the cells on their block. The walls between the cells are solid (I assume concrete or cinder-block), but the fronts were 100% clear. No bars.

If you go visit a Hospital ICU it's almost identical, some even with the glass walls and doors. Nurse or medical staff can sit at a central desk and see into every patients room and see all of the room unless the curtain is pulled.

Most cells housed 2 inmates, but those that were at risk or were a risk were in single cells (ya think they called them Amoebas?).

Now there is a difference between where he was being kept (he hadn't even been chraged yet) and the Prince George's prison where you'd be sent after you were convicted.

No idea what that is like, but I would assume it would be a part of the Prince George's Sheriff's Dept building, and that is a new modern facility, so I would assume it would be similar to what I described.

Ever think he did it to heomself..did a swam dive off his bunk to the floor?
maybe the strangulation marks wer old ones..
Either way, I am glad he is dead.
Saves a lot of time and money on court case and a life time of free room and board and all the perks that come with being an inamte.
One less piece of worthless scum off the street and out of the gene pool.

Only thing his family cares about is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$...not that POS of a 19yo.

It won't save any money at all and probably cost more by the time all is done with a big suit award or settlement, legal expenses associated with that, another investigation as to the cause of his death, then if determined to be caused by an employee at the jail another court case with those expenses, and if that person is found guilty the same costs for keeping them in prison versus the original POS.
