Jaeger is too cute!! It makes me want another puppy SOOOOO bad!!! My Lab just turned 5 on Sunday. I can't believe it! He still acts like he's a only a few months old though! Here's two pictures of him when he was just a little guy. I miss those days!

I sometimes miss the puppy stages when they play SO hard and than drop wherever to sleep. I got over it when I had the litter of aussies. I loved them to death, but yikes, it was a lot of poo. I still have one of them, and she keeps us on our toes. This morning she was on my chest sleeping and cuddling.

Oh I know what ya mean!! I love puppies but I'm definitely not planning on getting one anytime soon!! I don't want anymore animals to clean up after right now- the horses alone keep me pretty busy in the "poo" department!!

Isn't he just so precious!

Something about being around puppies makes your mind deny its ability to remember the early rough months and the committment and the costs... but in defense, I think my girls saved my life - or better said - gave me much more purpose - when I had to be responsible and on schedule and have two little beings that needed me 100%.

Clipper!!!

Yep!! The Clipster!! His birthday was Super Bowl Sunday. He turned 5 years old! Ironically, when he was born 5 years ago it was also on Super Bowl Sunday. His breeder lived in New Hampshire and named all the puppies after the Patriots (since they were in the Super Bowl that year). Clipper's original name was Bruschi (Ted Bruschi). The owner of Clipper's father got pick of the litter which happened to be Clipper and she wanted a co-owner (me!). When she told me his name she spelled it wrong (and never told me the meaning behind it) so I thought he was just named Brewski- as in "hey, have a breswki!!". That name wasn't going to work for me! When I actually spoke with his breeder in NH and told her his new name she practically had a heartattack- they are some die hard football fans so she was pretty horrified that I had changed it!!

Ah yes, I do appreciate any contributions you'd like to make towards paying my rent!! LOL! Although I spend half of my own paycheck there too!!! I used to be in the store every day but I've been working on the e-commerce part of my website for months and months now and I have to do that from home so I haven't been there as much lately. I just fired the guy that had been doing the e-commerce part though and the new company seems MUCH better so I can honestly say now that it should actually be completed soon. I'll be back in the store all the time as soon as that gets set up. In the meantime though I've only been going there about 4 days a week and it's usually around 1 or 2. Just let me know when you think you might be heading down though and I'll just make sure I'm there cause I'd love to meet Abby!!
