I had heard that the 15-pound burger is too big for the grill, so they bake it. That sounds like meatloaf to me. I say, get a bigger grill, and use a pizza spatula to flip the patty.

The outside would be charred and it could hardly get evenly cooked at that size. You would probably have raw meat all through the center.

True. How about baking it until it's 90% done or so, and then finishing it on the grill?

Can you tell I've been waiting all winter for grill-cooked burgers and steaks? :yum:
