Piebald!

Camping with grandson this weekend and saw this little cutie. I have seen many piebalds but this one is the piebaldiest! Sorry for the quality, blame android!

That mutation makes them really stand out....not good for hunting season.

(Piebald is a type of ball python. They are bred specifically for that trait)

Used to see them on PAX a lot. Never one with that much white though.

In 40+ years of outdoor recreation/deer hunting all over the US I have only ever seen 1 albino. I was fishing a small lake in the Adirondacks and it came down to the shore to drink. They tend to have short lives since they don't have their natural camouflage.

I remember reading years ago that it's bad luck to shoot an albino deer. The part of the story that stood out was someone having an albino head mounted and on the wall in the livingroom and a truck crashed through the wall destroying the mount. :shrug:

There are albino squirrels too... We have one living around our house. He is really ostentatious...

I remember years ago when my parents first came to the Land of Pleasant Living, hunting was allowed in the CRE (DEER hunting). Whenever I listened to the hunters they were always trying to bag an Albino deer.. Apparently there were quite a few.
