Free ...come take a step back in Maryland history tomorrow ...Revolutionary units form to resist the British landing at St George's Island. There will be live fire demonstrations, drill, and camp life.
Rain is gone by 6 am...some come visit the camps and speak with the reenactors!

These were always my favorite things to do in my travels. Historic villages, reenactments, museums, encampments... I love them!

There will also be boat rides provided to go around St. George's Island, with narration providing details of the only major battle in the Revolutionary War that was fought in Maryland. The battle of St. George's Island, 14 July - 7 August, 1776.

Narrators: Capt. Jack Russell and Mike Evans.

I hope you came by today...it was well attended and the weather was ideal. We celebrated the 249th with lots of volunteers and excellent planning!

I wanted to but had to work in the shop ..... too much backlog. I'll have to look forward to next year!
