Places for an office Christmas Party

My office is starting to think about our Christmas party and we've been brainstorming ideas for places. I thought I'd ask if anyone out there had any suggestions. There will be 20 to 25 of us. We'd like a place that serves food or will do a buffet and preferably has a separate area we could use. Sandgates was suggested and sounded good but someone said they thought they were shut down by December. Any ideas/suggestions? Thanks. :buddies:

A few years ago but Stoney's Kingfisher has an upstairs area that worked for our office Christmas party. Solomons Pier also has an upstairs that looks good for private parties.

Brome Howard Inn is excellent - its an old victorian, and the owners have it decorated very nice around the holidays. It was in Southern Living Magazine one year. Kinda pricey, but its worth the atmosphere

monterey! the food rocks! brome howard inn i didn't like...i like foood! not fancy stuff and lettuce with thorns....reminded me of having dinner in a funeral home with all them separate rooms....monterey is fun and great food...and you could have 25 people too!

Brace yourself this Christmas.... CP has their party in the admin building. They can't even spring for an out of office event! :lmao:
Plus, other holidays they make everyone bring a dish too!

Thats ok, I like the money to go in my pocket instead of my belly.

As for eating what others bring in. I can pack a PB&J, you never know who may be the cat lady!!!

I wouldn't mind bringing a dish to the xmas party IF the money did go in our pockets but it doesn't. In that case, boss should spring for everything. We used the community center in Wildwood and had that catered, we've used The Roost, no separate room. They used dividers I think. Fitzies looks really nice the last time I walked down there and I heard their food is good.

CP doesn't give a Christmas bonus either, so money is going into no ones pockets.

My husband worked a "soda" company for 5 years and they only had 1 xmas party. They couldn't afford it the other times, :bs:

Wish you luck in finding a place and a date you can have it. Most of the places by this time of year are already booked. Most organizations book a year in advance and place a deposit on the place.

There are places in the area that you may still check of, like the Cyrstal Room on rt 5 in Callaway. Check with some of the places that have conference rooms, then go look for a caterier.

Brass Rail alos has a party room with an area for dancing and a kitchen for either a caterier or for your own people to use. They will even provide you with a cash bar.
