Places for an office Christmas Party

CP doesn't give a Christmas bonus either, so money is going into no ones pockets.

Bonus time is March, it's never been Christmas time. CP isn't its own business. It is part of a much larger corporation. They can't decide on their own to hand out bonuses. That being said there has been a lot of nice perks working there, but I have gotten similar ones at all 3 locations. I guess it is all how you look at it, and what you put into it. I make a very fair wage, have great benefits, get a huge bonus every year. Its all in putting in the time to get your dime.

Back on topic though, are there any catering halls around here?

Dave and Busters is a great place if you want to drive about an hour. They dont allow minors in there after a certain time. Its up in Arundle Mills Mall

My office is starting to think about our Christmas party and we've been brainstorming ideas for places. I thought I'd ask if anyone out there had any suggestions. There will be 20 to 25 of us. We'd like a place that serves food or will do a buffet and preferably has a separate area we could use. Sandgates was suggested and sounded good but someone said they thought they were shut down by December. Any ideas/suggestions? Thanks. :buddies:

The J.T. Daugherty Conference Center is another good choice. They can cater your function and provide a very nice room for the event.

Jake and Al's have a private room and on the weekend they have a DJ or a band there. So you get the private room with free entertainment.

Well, if you need a DJ let me know. Evolution DJ's are entertaining and are the cheapest around. We do wedding's, b-day parties, X-mas parties, night clubs, homecomings/proms, reunions etc.. You name it, we most likely do it. Email evolution_djs@hotmail.com for dates, times and prices.

A few years ago but Stoney's Kingfisher has an upstairs area that worked for our office Christmas party. Solomons Pier also has an upstairs that looks good for private parties.

We used this area (Kingfisher) last year and it was wonderful!
Private bar, and dining area upstairs with a view of marina - very nice.

:howdy:I know the VFW Post 2632 in California does private parties and you don't have to be a member to book there. I wonder if Vera's might be open?! If you want Sandgates, give them a call, they do private parties as well, I know the bar is still open all winter.:buddies:
