what goes good in the window flower boxes???

You've probably already planted your window flower boxes, but there are a lot of great plants that go well in them and aren't expensive. My absolute favorite is impatiens. They are almost indestructible and bloom all summer long. I usually mix them with other plants of various textures and sizes: dusty miller, geraniums, begonias, creeping phlox, vinca (periwinkle), New Guinea impatiens, coleus, petunias, verbena, dracaena spikes, sweet william, etc.

Just get a good mix of trailing and upright annual plants in complimentary colors and you're good to go!

I got three colors of impatients and some New Guniea impatients and some vinca.

Indestructable:shrug:

The ride home in the back of the truck really dried the leaves and they looked sickly yesterday. Today they look a little better by tomorrow:yay:

Good choices. They're all pretty hardy and do well in flower boxes. They don't travel well in the open back of a truck but given enough water and kept out of direct sun for a few days, they'll spring back.

Here's one of the 8 railing planter boxes on my front porch from a couple of years ago with a mix of impatiens and dusty miller:
