Plaza Azteca SUCKS

You've obviously never had real Mexican food.

or maybe they have had authentic Mexican food, not the steam table / microwave meals that pass for Mexican Food locally.
People have to be real, these meals are not cooked from scratch, not when the server takes your order and in 5 minutes or less the table is being served.

I'll have to go up there some time...

after the furlough.

We went up and tried the TG and were not impressed. Music was way too loud and the food was nothing different than what you get here at PA or any of the other places. Certainly not worth the drive...for us. :buddies:

Sorry about your bad meal at Plaza. I was never impressed with Monterey or Sierra Grande. But Fiesta Cafe as someone else already mentioned is the place to go for good Mexican. At least down here in So. MD. in my opinion. Spouse and me both love it.

Where is Big Mike's in LP City???

Where is Fiesta Cafe?

Feeding a family of 4 can get expensive when dining out.

Point made was that those highly paid workers at Pax will be cutting back their spending - and as if some don't know we've already cut back the work force - at least the CSS workforce has been trimmed. That's good paying jobs that are being lost, being replaced by $10 / hour (and less than 35 hours per week) jobs. We aren't replacing the income, just the job numbers.
Do you think those $10/hr job workers are going out to eat every Friday?

Or put another way, if the higher paid workers (who are getting furloughed) aren't spending, who is?
Without spending these retail, food service and service jobs aren't going to be around long.

Did you take a pay cut?

Let's see, no COLA for how long... and now a 20% cut.
I think that's a yes.

Word is, expect it to continue into the next FY (not stopping at 11 weeks).

They decide to keep this as a permanent thing I'll be taking myself out of defense and back to my beloved west coast.

Went there today for lunch service was excellent. Got our food 10 minutes after ordering. I just had a quesadilla & my friend ordered a lunch special. Food was good.
Oh AND they brought the white sauce out with the chips without us having to ask for it.

Just thought I'd give an update. :0)
