Please dont park in the spaces between handicapped

Saw this tonite at Target, and I've noticed it a few times before, where the bike is left on that diagonally marked area between handicapped spaces.

If you do this, please dont, if you know a rider who does, ask them not to. Those gaps are not bike spots, but are for the ramps that some handicapped vans have.

The ramp will knock a bike over, and they will learn that the world doesn't revolve around.them and it won't happen again. Problem Solved

Not supposed to park on any diagonally marked lines. I did make an exception for myself yesterday so I could park in front of the van that was parking alongside the curb at ABC taking up 3 parking slots. Someone came along right after and parked behind her.:lmao:

I've been using the new parallel handicap parking spots at Wally Mart.
There is about 10ft of yellow line on each end. Slide the bike up next to the curb at the end of the space

I thought those lines at the end of the row in front of K Mart were bike parking

Normally yes. The only exception seems to be the lines under the clock in front of Catamarans. Bikes are always lined up there. I even had a sheriff direct me into that slot once.

As always, it comes down to consideration, and what you're talking about is a perfect example. That would be fine, I cant see where that would interfere with them at all. It shows you think about the effects your actions have on others and plan to not interfere. Now if we can just teach the rest of the world:wench:

More like, just wasted space. Maybe we could get the business managers to start a motorcycle parking area. After all, we take up less space, burn less gas so we should be appreciated in some small way. Also it would look cool.

Around here, a big handicap seems to be a lack of the ability to actually park IN the space and not on the lines
