my brother has a glock 23 that he likes, i didn't get to shoot it though. it seemed to handle nice and although my pinkey hung off the bottom it still fit well. i need to shoot a glock though so i can see how i like the triggers. Can't say I have. I have shot a couple of sub-compact Glocks and although I like them for what they are my hand is too big to fire them accuratley at all. The G19 is about as small as I can go and still feel confident I'll hit anything more than a few yards away.
i'll have to research those! the pics of those two savages remind me of a tokarev with a different slide... interesting......of these;

...but in .32
I need to find some mags somehow. Cool little blasters.
I have heard good things about the Kel tecs in .380. Work well. Cheap.

i'm primarily concerned with being able to ccw in summertime. criteria: inexpensive, reliable, small, slim, and lightweight (20 oz or less). min .380. but i would slide on the weight some for a nice used surplus or classic. PA-63 or makarov for instance. although i'm shying away from 9x18mm because its hard to get for me locally at a decent price.
Has anyone here ever shot a Ruger LCP, Kel-Tec P3AT (both .380)? Or has shot any other "pocket guns"?
What were your impressions of the shoot? Any misfires, stovepipes, etc?
Thoughts?

Is a Bersa .380 too small for your grip?
...look at a plastic gun, the keltec or Glock. I'd see what H/K has to offer, too. I love everything H/K.
Them Savages are robust, heavy guns for their size.
I was looking at those and the new PF-9... I prefer single stack mags over double due to the slimmer profile and typically my hands fit better.Take a look at the Kel-Tec P-11. 9mm, 16oz loaded, not pretty, but it's inexpensive and reliable.
although i love wheelguns, from what i've seen they are a good bit fatter than semiautos. i'll still keep them in mind though. i know that taurus makes .38 lightweights that are a little more affordable and the last taurus i had ZERO issues (model 94 5" barrel 9 shot .22) .Smith and Wesson .38 AirWeight... A tad on the $$$ side, but its a great summer carry.
H/K belong in the centerfold of gun porn mags. I've never held one though. I always thought they were too expensive for me (Sigs too).
The surplus Sig P6's are the hot deal right now. That's because Taurus bought a bunch of Smith & Wesson machinery years ago. Their quality control wasn't all that great, but things have changed.
I've owned 3 Taurus handguns, several (approximately 10) Smith & Wesson handguns, at least 1 Ruger handgun, and 1 Colt handgun. I sold all but 2 about 6 years ago when I sold my business and turned in my concealed carry permit. I still have 2 Smith & Wesson automatics which I dearly love, and believe it or not... one of them is a model 3913 "LadySmith" which is slim and compact. I carried that weapon loaded with CorBon 115 grain +P ammo which was about 1320 fps.
I'd still like to have a SIG, but I don't need it
i like em... but a little too big for a pocket gun i think. and for something that size I'd go with the Bersa .380 CC...mention Walther yet?
Never fired one.
