Right lane passing jumpers?

Explain, please.

Those who race up the merge/turn lane and cut into traffic at the last second (often over a solid white single or double line) just before the signal light. After going throught the intersection, they go right back into the merge/turn lane and rinse/repeat.

Or, those who go through an intersection where the far right lane is 'right turn only' but instead they just keep going straight.

Yeah, that should be a draw-and-quarterable offense.

And not just for right-lane people.

In places where the lanes are made for a zipper merge, like just north of the 235/4 intersection, or on Rt 4 heading "north" towards the bridge from Rt 235, no. Those lanes are designed to absord and distribute cars through the zipper merge process. Hoever, if you enter the dedicated turn lane from Gate One to Expediction Drive, then get into the right lane, then back into it til the Rue Purchase block, you are operating illegally. Last trick I saw was folks not even bothering to do the fake turn into Wawa or back to the hotel. they are so blatant they take this right, and pull an immedate U-turn back into the turn lane going north. Last tiem I went that way, I saw three or more cars do that trick. Then they go up and hook right in Millstone Landing, cut back through that parking lot and then ride it til Maple, where they go in by Cedar Point behind Chipotle.

If they are doing it then they are only patrolling for a short time. I was in the traffic mess all the way up 235NB between 445 and 530 yesterday and didn't see a single LEO the entire way. Maybe they got called away
I left Gate 3 at 4pm and arrived Hollywood 30 minutes later. I saw two.

Thanks for the map. It also clearly shows the 235NB/Town Creek Drive intersection I spoke of the other day.

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say you didn't read the post of mine that you quoted... right? Ya' know, the one where I apologized for being incorrect and mistaking the intersection in question?

This occurs multiple times a day. Every single day. I still do not know why they do not patrol MORE on this. That is a money making bonanza right there :yay:

I dont want it to be a moneymaker, just enough random enforcement (and by random, I mean more often than once every two years ) to deter folks.

For the record, both north and southbound, the lane has not one sign that says MERGE, the road and signs clearly state RIGHT TURN or RIGHT LANE MUST TURN RIGHT
It was put in to allow vehicle to decelerate and make any of the numerous right turns without forcing the thru traffic to slow down.
It was supposed to make turning right safer, the vehicle turning should not have to fear a vehicle going through their assend at speed..
