Poisoned Pet Treats from China (Again!)

The brands I have seen associated with these illnesses are Waggin' Train and Canyon Creek Ranch brand dog treats distributed by Nestle Purina Pet Company (both had been voluntarily recalled). Check to make sure your pet's treats are made in the USA and introduce them slowly so you can note any changes in your pet's behavior/condition.

I kinda felt sorry for China during the smog crisis over the past few days, but then I'm reminded of the toxic milk, the toxic plastic, how many people, us and their own have been poisoned, and now this. I swear they seem to go out of their way to find toxic things to put in food.

They can choke in their smog.

I'm not buying anymore dog stuff from China - even if it means I start making my own treats for the dogs. This is happening far too often and there's no way I want a dog of mine suffering a painful death from poisoning. :-/
