Charlotte Hall Veteran's Home Poker Run
Here's the event coming up to help the Veteran's at the Charlotte Hall Veteran's Home. All the proceed's go to the residents in the form of items from the list. We do this every year and it is a good cause.
Charlotte Hall Veterans Home Poker Run 11 Aug 07 will start at 1100 at the Veterans Home. The last stop will be at the Hughsville American Legion. This Poker Run is Sponsered by the US Military Vets Motorcycle Club of Southern Maryland and is open to all vehicles. Our goal is to provide basic items to the residents. www.usmvmcsmd.org/HD2.html has a copy of the flyer and the items needed for the residents. The cost for the Poker Run is $15 worth of new items from the list (you can bring more) or $15 cash (the money will be spent on items from from the list for the Residents). All proceeds will go to the residents in the home as items from the list.
Prize Money is paid buy the club and is 1st place $150, 2nd place $75, 3rd place $50 and last place is $25

Also mark your calendars for Sept 28th, the J ride Dice run starts at Hooters Waldorf and ends to be announced. Check the rkmcmd4.com website for more info.

can't say enough to support these guys that honorably served our country. Most have little or no family and are now only waiting on God for their next deployment.
Not sure about the landing since RKMCMD4 come from all counties and will prb meet at All American. We try to get care packages for them as well as money donations not to mention the ride fee. If I was fortunate to win, I would just hand it back, great cause for great men that won our freedom.

This is a great cause and a good bunch of bikers. I look forward to it every year. It's good to get the chance to see these veterans get the respect they deserve from a motorcycle club.

Great ride today. Couldn't ask for better weather or a better group of people to help out.
