Great Mills High School has been placed on lockdown. Reported sightings of a possibly armed individual in the area have been made. As a precaution to keep students and faculty safe the school is on lockdown with a large police presence on scene and in the area of the school.

From FB, no confirmation, bolding mine:
"GMHS is on lockdown due to unconfirmed report of an armed suspect in area. No one permitted to enter or leave until cleared by Sheriff"
It does. The boy has been spotted on school grounds, but is not inside.
Doesn't that description apply to a large percentage of the local population in that area?
The boy involved in the Hickory Hills shooting yesterday has been spotted on campus.
Is he (or was he) a student there?
Yes. Both boys are. The other is in the hospital. I'm in contact with niece and FES. They are safe.
Glad they are both safe. I've seen no in-depth info on the HH shooting other than someone was shot in the back and a car crashed into a house after the shooting.
Nor have I.

Rumor mill be flying...... I''m hearing that the HH shooting is connected to the Park and Ride death, and now this is connected with that........... it's like crack to drama queens......
For the record, I dont think any of these things are connected, other than a teen maybe saw something and sparked a hole lot of reaction to nothing.

"Miles was also reportedly seen".
So we don't know if this kid was really there. Don't get me wrong, if someone thought they saw him, reporting it was the right thing to do. And the Sheriffs response was as it should be. What I'm saying is that I think this is going to end up being not a big deal after all.
