Why do criminals have the right to walk the streets freely and unfettered, but our kids don't????

We have to lock up our kids because our "judicial system" won't lock up the criminals. UFB.
:yeahthat: I thought nothing of walking in the Lexington Park area when I was 13. Hell, my siblings and I walked EVERYWHERE: St. Mary's Square, to the Park and Plaza movie theaters, on base to the Drill Hall, etc.

Now, you wouldn't find anyone (who cared about their kid anyway) letting their kids walk ANYWHERE. There are just too many nutsos out there.

They said on the news last night that the dad met the molestor when they were in prison together. Nice family.

Moral of the story: Don't go to prison and meet sex offenders that will kidnap your child.

And another thing - I'd like to know what these judges and lawyers have to say for themselves. Guy gets convicted of child molestation, does his time, gets released, goes after another kid. WHY DO THEY LET THESE PEOPLE OUT?????

I am aware of a situation that happened not too long ago, within the last few months. A man, a convicted child sex offender on the registry, works in a church remodeling the children's classrooms. It was brought to the Pastor's attention, that this person is a child sex offender, and the response that the person received was that "God forgives all people and so should others."

 It is far off from my personal feelings, because studies have PROVEN that there is no way for these people to reform.

Well if God forgives them- that should suffice-it's not necessary for me to!! :yay:

That's just effed up. I would make a comment about that pastor but we're probably all thinking it anyway.

Caught!

CARTERSVILLE, Ga. - A convicted sex offender wanted for kidnapping an 11-year-old boy from his school in Florida was arrested in Cartersville Sunday, two days after the boy was found safe.

Frederick Fretz, 42, was apparently hitchhiking along Main Street near Interstate 75, authorities said. Police say Fretz picked up the boy at Dunnellon Elementary School in Dunnellon, Fla., last Tuesday and headed north.

Emerson Police Sgt. Mike Powell said a person phoned police Sunday afternoon with a tip that Fretz appeared to be hitchhiking on the side of the road. Fretz was arrested without incident at about 2:30 p.m. and was being held in the Bartow County Jail, Powell said.
