Police Smackdown at Market in Charlotte Hall

my mom owns a shop at the market and I went up today to see her.....O' my goodness. Police were everywhere locking up boot-leggers. It was a TRIP. They actually ran out of handcuffs. They had loads of stuff going into Uhaul trucks....... when are these people going to learn their lessons?

Darn, had to take the wife to Rockville for a wedding shower. I miss all the fun!

I got to see it.. Went past this one guy who was selling movies for $5 and son wanted one I said nope they're boot legged movies (sp) Then we walked to the truck and bam he was being hand-cuffed

Well heck, we missed it! Maybe they'll "kick" all the bootleggers out and it can go back to being an actual "Farmer's Market" like it used to be!! We don't go there anymore. We go to the one by the Library.

The way people drive now-a-days, my wife and I hate to drive there. Too many accidents at that place, too many are fatal. I have to be in a very good mood to undertake that trip.

They took down the whole place! under-cover cops EVERYWHERE. loved it !!!! I was wanting to jump in and help! I made eye contact with a couple cops and gave them the big smile! I laughed my tootsies off all the way home.

Yeah ,. I imagine they have been making purchases and rounding up evidence for some time. I too remember when it was a real market.

Funny thing is its owned by an ex St Mary's County Sherriff.

I would LOVE to see it go back to the way it used to be!! We use every "back road route" we can on Saturdays to avoid the whole mess. Glad to hear that the police are working on cleaning it up!!!

Change is good.......they asked for it.......they got it.
They are still selling pitt puppies too. I saw them out there today. The veggies were awesome as usual and the flowers were going for $1.00 I can't wait to plant all my new flowers ~

they need to go after the owner who lets the #### go on there... he owns that and the shopping center and he also owns a Bail Bonds agency.. and the Hotel where the Crack heads hang out.... Don't be fooled he is way in on it.... He will bail them out and be back in place next week..
