I don't believe she was ever on the D train, even when she is describing how she was was "being open minded" in 2020 she spoke about all the leftist agenda items with the language of the Rs (where if she was a D before that she would have been using their language). She may have been anti-trump in 2016, but I don't think she was pro-democrat.
