I have never been allergy-prone, but the last two springs have even got me buying Claritin. I really feel for all of you who have allergies continually - there should be a medal for that kind of suffering.

This didn't start until my 30's, thank goodness.

You can become immune to the effects and it will no longer work. Then you need to switch.

Great!! Was taking Zytec, now Claritin-D..........I might just ask if I can get shots!~!!!!

At night, in order to sleep, I'm taking 1200 mg of Ibuprofen, 2 Sudafeds, and Tylonol Sinus something or other. I can't take allergy medication because it makes me into a lunatic. I cry all the time, I want to sleep my life away, I get violently upset and mad at the drop of a hat, etc. It's best for everyone if I just suffer through the day.

Gosh E- that's an awful lot of meds just to get some sleep. I have bad allergies also. An in-room air filter and those nasal strips have been a great help. And I take Claritin-D 24hour every morning. Gets me through all but the worst days.

I love the vapor nasal strips too they really help clear me up during the night and I feel much better when I get up.
