Polygamy

yeah yeah
...we go again with the imagination thing; polygamy doesn't need to be by someones book anymore than Christianity, Islam or any other handbook.

If you can imagine what you'd like it to be, then you've got your own personal handbook.

True. And I agree with that. Would you insitute the having children to keep your sect alive? I think I would go mad with 13-15 kids. :lmao:

Just was stating under that particular post how a household is run. Because it is a "no no" to have :duel: between the wives, because the man is to have peace in his household at all times because he has "control" and that helps to gain him another level of priesthood status in the celestial kingdom.

The other thing with marrying under that of a FLDS sect, is that when you are married, they truly believe that the women is to be with the man for all eternity. Meaning, that it is good if you were to marry a man with a higher priesthood because you would be on a different "level" in the celestial kingdom. That even AFTER death you are with the man you marry.

Damn.. even in death you cant get away from the a**:lmao:

Hey, I'd love to have a wife.

Someone to clean my house, wash my cothes, cook my meals, run errands, drop off the boy to daycare, etc. What's not to like about that?

Yes...I say again, I'd LOVE to have a wife. :yay:

If that's the question, no. The new K1200 series has the FD on the left side.

And not sure about the Belt and Chain drive bikes they have.

But I think all the R bikes (the ones with the big jugs sticking out) are all RH drive.

Dual SPort (GS) are one model of the R - series..

R1200GS is the dual Sport

R1200RT is the two up Touring

R1200S Sport Bike

R1200RS (my model) Sport Touring

R1200ST the newer Sport Touring.

R's have the Horizontal twin, lower HP high Torque.

K's (K1200GT/S/RS/LT have a flat four cylinder., new K's have a V-4, LOT of power.

No child care bills, as one woman (or husband) could always be home with the kids. Say four people working, and hopefully you all met in college so you all have GREAT jobs.

You'd need a bigger house, BUT you could afford it.. maybe nother car, BUT you could afford it.

Take in a welfare woman to take care of the kids as a 5th wife, and one less person on the dole.

But seriously, I don't understand WHY the government has issues, and even has laws making polygamy illegal. Anyone want to take a guess?

Aside from the deviations from established societal norms regarding polygamy I believe history has shown that most polygamous relationships involve a man with average to below average income with multiple wives and numerous children. When it is all factored the "family" is well below poverty and most are on TANF and medicaid.

In a nutshell most polygamist relationships are a burden on society.

I think you are on to something.

The one person in jail for having multiple wives, wasn't convicted of polygamy, nor was he charged with polygamy, but welfare fraud, yet none of the women, that were collecting the welfare were charged OR convicted.

And I don't know about the FLDS, but his is the only case I know of where polygamy and welfare were mentioned, as most cases of polygamy are generally ignored, "They are adults, they can do what they want."

Second, polygamists abuse the welfare system. Polygamist families are taught that welfare was instituted by God to assist them. Thus, wives who are not technically married as the first wife file for welfare by stating that their husband has left them and refuses to pay child support. In effect, polygamy is cheating the honest citizens of this state out of millions of tax dollars.

This from an ariticle Time to end abuse, welfare fraud in polygamist clans And I'd have to disagree.. I think he's calling out the FLDS homes, where I don't think they are the ONLY Polygamists in the country.
I think he (the author) needs to be more specific as to who he's referring to.. Not just Polygamist Family, but in this case, the FLDS Polygamist family.

It seems every time polygamy comes up in the news the story is that there is a sect or community where the families have an outrageous amount of kids and they are all on welfare. The guy marries wife #1 and since he cannot officially marry #2, 3, 4 and 5 they have some sort of commitment ceremony so technically he is not breaking the law. Wife 2, 3, 4 and 5 all lie on the birth certificates and put "unknown" for the father so the state doesn't come after him when they go on TANF.

Love is Blind
So...

all the women who are for having a "Wife"...cook, clean, run errands, do laundry, deal w/their kids...my question is "does she get to boink your husband too"? Technically speaking, the difference between having a maid and having a wife is the sex. Unless of course he's boinking the maid too, but thats for another thread!!! If you say "Yes", Cool!!! If not, Polygamy isn't your thing!!!

I'm not married anymore but I'd still like a "Wife" to do all those things. If they want to boink my ex, they are MORE than welcome to do so. :lmao:

Lookie! Proof there is a God.... and she's female! :jet:

4. Death During Sex Has a Prototype

In examining the incidence of death during sex, a 1975 study found a pattern for males: the “deceased is usually married; he is not with a spouse and in unfamiliar surroundings," and death usually occurs after "a big meal with alcohol.” A 1989 study found further evidence for the extramarital sex bit. Fourteen of the 20 cases of “la mort d’amour,” or coital death, happened during an affair. Talk about swift karma!
