Like, 800 people reported him on numerous posts where he's going off in a mental case tirade.

I'm debating whether or not to delete the posts and delete him for bypassing the filters, but I'm leaning toward letting it stand. Hey Democrats? That's your tribe. That's you. You folks are the reason why civil discourse is dead and unity is impossible. A quick trip across all social media outlets - from Twitter to little local guys like us - shows Democrat voters in full abusive obscene meltdown attack, and they have been for 4 years. Watching the news or actually living in a Democrat-run urban area shows them looting and destroying, injuring and killing people. Elected Democrat leaders can hardly open their mouths without spewing venom and hatred.

Democrats: Pontificator isn't an outlier or extremist, he's one of you. This is your Party. So I'm in favor of letting him be your mirror and see what you've become.

But I'm open to discussion on the topic.

My thought is if you allow it and don't delete it, others will try to get away with it too. I wouldn't encourage it. But I get where your thoughts come from.

Add on thought: Yeah, we can put it on ignore, but we can because we have accounts. Non-account forum readers don't have that option, and it degrades the overall forum.

He or she has been on ignore as well as many others; many of which I think are MPD's. When I do hit the feature to be able to see their posts, I am reminded of why they are on ignore.
Personally, after what I read earlier, I'd throw it to the curb like the trash.

My understanding is there are prescribed penalties for violating certain forum community standards, so I don't see why said poster/s would merit any differing treatment.

Sure they are challenged :shortbus:, but they're not special. They must learn their misdeeds have consequences just like the rest of us.

It's going to rant and rave anyway because that's what it does. Meanwhile, I'm going to finish up with work and hit the Port Isabel Shrimp Cookoff, then maybe bike ride to the beach. That's my life, not worrying about the anger and hatred of weirdos on the internet.

You make a good point. But honestly, doesn't it give you even a little bit of pleasure at how miserable these people are and how hatred consumes them? Because I look at them and go, "Good. It should suck to be you."

But it does make me think you're the kind of person to put a padlock in a sock and crack the skulls of people who have the audacity to have a different opinion than yours.

It sounds like getting around the filters is really the issue. We all do it to a certain extent. It's just Bloviator got around it to drop the 'F' bomb. We all know it's a 'u' even with umlauts.

Most of us would never think to drop the "F" bomb on a public forum. Our parents raised us better.

It's exhausting to harbor such hate, and unhealthy, so pity may more accurately describe what I feel for them, if I were to ever feel anything for them.

Although I have him and his MPDs on iggy, it makes for dull conversation to read a thread that goes off the rails in the span of 5 or less posts because of the fights - and they're name-calling and vulgarities. It's actually MILDLY amusing that someone who does this spends so much time telling us how awful Trump is.

But as long as anyone pays attention to him, there's not much meaningful conversation with anyone ELSE, either. It has the intended effect - disruption.
