My family will soon be buying a house in the Ranch Club...I know in there, you have a water bill. We currently live in Drum Point, where we'd just fill our pool with the hose every year. Does anyone have experience with the Ranch Club..if it would be cheaper to fill it with the hose or pay someone to fill it? Do you know how much companies charge to fill pools? Its an above ground, 18 Foot round pool, 4 feet deep. Thanks for the info!

In My Opinion
what is that? 4200 gallons roughly?
would take a long time to fill with a hose, but I think if you let the county know that you are filling a pool, they will take off the sewage part of the bill for that amount.
At least they used to in some other counties.
I would check on what it would cost on the water bill vs a truck dump.

Friend of mine has a pool about that size. I think it was around $700 to fill.

sounds about right, and well worth it if you are on well.
the more you get, the less per gallon it is, you have to pay a fairly large fee for the truck and the driver. and Im not sure but I think there is also a permit involved since those trucks fill from fire hydrants. (or at least they used to)

I have an in-ground, appx 20,000 gallon pool. Took about 24 hours with two hoses after resurfacing/tiling. Additional cost to monthly water bill about $150.

What the heck do you pay for county water up there?:dingding:

Pretty close to the exorbitant costs, but not quite up to, here.

But you have to have water, right?

And pools are a year-round necessity here....
