Griswold v Connecticut was an early (1965) and infamous case that inferred that a right to privacy existed in the Constitution, though no such language can be found in the document to support that notion. The issue in this case was the state ban on the use of contraception by married couples. As decided the Justices (7-2) focused on one point that limited the discussion to the right of privacy within a marriage.I don't know what that is, and am not going to look it up.
