Pork Chops

Starting Over
Ok, I am getting really bored with eating the same foods over and over again. My kids are picky eaters, which sucks, so I am like limit on selection of foods. I am having pork chops for dinner tonight and wanted to try something different, any suggestion would be great!

I brown mine, then simmer in a can of mushroom soup or tomato soup for about an hour or until I feel like taking them out and serve with noodles. Even if the kids don't like mushroom soup, it works......

Or stuff them with stuffing and baste with apricot preserves or peach preserves or whatever you have and bake for an hour. Those are yummy, but you have to get the thick ones so you can carve a pocket in them for stuffing (or have the butcher do that).

Yellow mustard and sour cream. Soak them in it (the pork not the kids) and then bake them. Good stuff.

I slice 2 apples & 2 onions and saute them in a little butter, remove them from the pan then sear the pork chops (that have been seasoned w/ salt pepper & garlic powder) put them in a dish and top w/ the apples & onions and bake for 25 minutes :yum:

You are Mom. You pick the dinner selection. You cook it. You put it on their plates. They eat it. Or they don't and they go to bed hungry.

So very true, but I deal with a bunch of whining adults all day and to have to come home to, 2 kids that whine about what we are having for dinner.... for some reason just plucks my nerves....

I am so very blessed
I grill or broil pork chops. Soup on meat is just disgusting.
Bu....bu...but what if you're talking about beef vegetable soup?

Oh, that'd be so perfect for dinner on a day like today.

Marinate the pork chops in some lite soy sauce, some honey, and two or three crushed garlic cloves. Pan sear or toss on a grill until done. :yay:
