There's an election...

...this fall.

I can take it a step further. What about those indecent women who prance around in belly shirts with peircings? Completely indecent! I say we make it illegal to show our ankles! Heck while we are at it I think all women should cover their faces in public!

Vote Taliban.

Where do I get this anti government or anti rules rap? You're debating me over something I've said about another issue?

How about creating a law that says minors may not be inside any vehicle at any time. :frown:

dark...

How about they utilize the laws regarding pr0n and minors, and throw his dumb ass in jail

I'm with that.

I have no interest in a new law. Or marches on Washington or picketing car dealers who sell DVD screens on visors. I think we got it covered with public accomodation laws on the books.

Same thing with guns and crime. We can do everything that needs to be done with existing law.

I'm not talking about in the vehicle.

I'm talking about display and/or distributing pornography to minors.

Do you condone the distribution of porn to minors?

If so - case closed. I'll stop arguing with you.

I'm not that sensitive to porn either. I'd register vague amusement at most, and continue with my day.

But my kids can spot Spongebob on a postage stamp across the store spanning 2 departments. So - if I'm scooting along, and my son gets the whammy and starts asking me, "Hey dad, what's he watching? What's that guy doing to her? Why did he put that there???", I'm going to have an attitude about that.

Sleuth...Here's the thing about...

...lawyers.

Many people have said the key to eliminating radical (terror) Islam is Islam itself.

They key to eliminating radical lawyers is lawyers.

The only reason lawyers get away with stupid stuff is the judge and the opposing counsel (other lawyers).

The only reason radical Islamists survive and/or prosper is because true followers of Islam let them get away with it.

Good lawyers see some benefit in bad lawers.

A pattern emerges.

Are there any laws about watching porn at residences?

It seems to me this issue would arise from anyone with a big screen TV watching porn with their bay-window curtains thrown wide open. Or having sex in front of a window for all to see.

Like boob flashes on network tv, it's inappropriate and should be punished.

Darn Constitution. Always getting in the way of great ideas.
I Love your quote and remind everyone that there are people in this world who would have us regulate everything. That's what scares me.

Gotcha....I guess it's b/c I think most of it is kinda stupid too that I'm kinda immune to it and couldn't care less if I seen it.

I honestly don't think it really happens enough to where someone needs to step in right now and make a law similar to the noise ordinances.

Well, I think it's been well established that free speech does not extend to obscenity - and I think that everyone is pretty much in agreement that pornography is nothing more than obscenity.

My quote above about the constitution, and my defense of shock radio programming revolves around the fact that I do not see Howard Sterns butt-bongo or lesbian spanking or Don & Mike talking about BM-Eaters as obscene. Distasteful, juveneille, and lowest common denominator, sure - but not obscene.

Displaying porno in public - and let's be honest, inside your car or not, it's in public - is not a right guaranteed by the Constitution.

Broadcasting the goofy puerile antics of a 50 year old man-child, however, is.

Maybe I'm not qualified to comment, since I've never seen a movie more explicit than an "erotic thriller." I would be too embarrassed to go into a porn shop, because I imagine the clerk is thinking, "Ha ha, that loser's going to bob the baloney!"

At least if the people at Mastercard or Visa or Dish Network are laughing at you, you never find out about it.
