Possibly moving to St. Mary's

TenKnots- I was averaging the cost of an apartment/townhouse per year ($5,000) plus the cost of a meal plan ($3,000). So you're right, I did exaggerate a little. It's about $1000/mo since I'd only get the apartment for eight months. Not jumping down your throat or anything, just pointing out what I was trying to say.
If I get a four bedroom house and split it with three other people, the cost per month would be about $400 (including utilities and everything).


I want to get a job in Calvert cause that's where I live now. I'm hoping to save some money to get a place in August. If I could find a place to stay in St. Mary's now, I would, but I have to wait until I have people to share with. It makes sense somehow. :smile:

I'm majoring in Psych but I'm getting certified to be an elementary/early childhood teacher. The more classes the better! :dead:

Well, there are plenty of schools in calvert, but i hear its a pretty competitive market.

I took a lot of Psych and Phil classes at St marys when i was there. Dr Ebenreck and Paskow were two of my favorites.

If you end up with a psych degree you could try applying to the Human Factors division of Navair, i know they have a lot of those working over there

not sure if you would be interested or not but....

i think they may be looking for security guards where i work. its pretty easy, safe, and i think they pay around 12 or 13 bucks an hour. like i said though, not sure if you would be interested in something like that. for what its worth, about half the current guards are female.

at the LNG plant.

the company is dominion, but the security guards are with another company. i think its called vance.

the supervisors name is doug.
