The income to the County from the tracks is minuscule compared to what it would bring in from property taxes if it were converted to McMansions. Don't underestimate the power of newby neighbors. Ask most any airport.

How times do you hear about people moving in next to a fully operational airport then start trying to get the hours of operation of the airport reduced or shut-down all together.

One of the small junk cars flip three times and then got nailed by another car.The guy was knocked out for a few.They where cuting him out of the car the last time I saw.
