I don't really need a man in the house to be safe.
While installing new cable in the control house at our Hewitt Road Switching Station in Lexington Park this morning, an inadvertent short occurred causing a breaker to open at our Ryceville Switching Station that de-energized the line feeding the Hewitt Road station.
The outage duration was from 9:20 to 9:30 a.m. and affected more than 36,000 customers.
SMECO technicians followed our normal safety protocols; no one was injured and we are continuing to investigate the incident.
Musta happened when I did this....
Obviously. If you can't tell by my picture, I'm a ninja.
Come on, we know how women fight, if you have an intruder you will pull their hair, rip the clothes off and try to slap.
I swear I have never lived anywhere with as many power outages as this place. It is like we have a third world infrastructure.
