Prayers are needed ...

My aunt Mary has been fighting colon cancer for over a year now. The tumors have spread to her liver and possibly her lungs. Chemo doesn't seem to be working, and the doctors are trying to extend her life, as opposed to treating her cancer....:bawl:

I know how tough it can be. I'm right there with you Nanny Pam! :huggy:

Just an update, Tammi is now on a breathing machine. She is twice her size, since her liver is not working. She is rejecting the platelets (sp) and the Doctor wants her brother to donate his platelets, as he would be a better match. No one is allowed in to see her. We can only see her from the glass windows. Chemotherapy will resume when / if her body starts to accept the platelets from her brother.

Prayers coming her way.:huggy: I lost my 10 year old neice to cancer in 2003 and lost my brother to cancer last September. My heart goes out to her family and what they must be going through.

:huggy: I am so sorry for your loss and all of the family and friends she has left behind. Try to remember that she is no longer suffering and she is free :huggy:

Sorry for your loss. May she rest in the peace of the Lord. May God grant you and her family peace that surpasses all understanding to deal with the loss. :huggy:

The Delaware Seashore Parrot Head Club

Hosts a fundraiser for one of our members and her family featuring

A solo appearance by Jim Morris

Date: Saturday, August 19th

Time: 7:00PM

Place: The Lighthouse in Lewes on the Canal

Ticket price: $20.00

One of our charter members (since 1996), Tammi Anderson is in Critical Care in Beebe Hospital here in Lewes, Delaware.
She has been diagnosed with liver cancer and is very ill. Her husband, Neil Dignon has taken a 3 month leave-of-absence from work and is sharing his time between Tammi in the hospital, and caring for their 3 yr old son, Lex.

All of the proceeds from this fundraiser will go to this family to help defray some of their expenses.

I know some of you in the Mid-Atlantic area know Neil & Tammi from the years past. They have always been very active members of our club and also huge Jim Morris fans.

We will have several raffle items, and a 50/50 drawing.

If you cannot attend, but would like to make a donation, it can be sent to

Sylvia Diehl

1 Bay Harbor Circle

Rehoboth Beach, De. 19971

(checks payable to DSPHC)

Thank you all!
