The driver of the striking vehicle is a State Police employee and the vehicle was equipped with emergency lights. It is unknown if the lights were activated at the time of the accident.

I saw the article this morning and this caught my attention.

So sad.

It appears that there were no other witnesses, at least not in the current story, to say otherwise...it's Yogis word against the officers & unfortunatley Yogi is not here to give his side of the story. No matter what the situtation, I'm sure the officer is dealing with his own issues now that this has happened.

It amazes me how quick you are to point blame when you have not facts. Guess what? Accidents happen in life. Sorry we all can't be perfect like you. Never surprises me when whiners take a sad accident and try to blame someone as if they acted in some malicious fashion.

You mean like whiners who try to defend every cop without knowing if they acted maliciously or not when they kill someone walking on the side of the road because they decided it warrants vehicular manslaughter. IS THAT WHO YOU MEAN????????

Sorry only an ignorant person would jump to your assumptions WITH OUT ANY EVIDENCE. Maliciously...For real? Another knucklehead in action. It's all one big conspiracy theory. :buttkick:

"I heard this god-awful, wrenching, metal-on-metal sound," she said Thursday morning.

Flower went outside, she said, and saw the driver of the white SUV walk back and talk to a woman in another vehicle traveling behind him. Flower said, "He was saying, ‘He was in the middle of the road. I couldn't see him. I couldn't avoid him.'"

Just curious, when driving fairly slowly and trained in defensive driving, can you usually see stuff, like people, that are right smack in the middle of the road? And why would an officer immediately go to the car behind him and begin telling them what happened, don't cops know that after seeing something traumatic most people are unclear and easily swayed?Oh...wait...now the picture is forming.

Your right the conspiracy lives on in your warped little mind. He planned this all days ago.

Should be very easy to figure out where he was since the lawn mower was still under the vehicle and undoubtably left marks. He must not have seen him at all if he went that far before coming to a stop. Not blaming anyone one here. But a few questions do arise in my little mind.
