Pre K Homeschooling

Yes it is - I'm just wondering what work books or programs have worked well for others.

The kid is 4. You have to make learning fun. Phonics DVDs and PC games are about the only way nowadays. Making him sit down to learn is damn near impossible at his age. My son is in Pre-K in public school now. They get coloring books with numbers and letters and teach him one number and letter per day.

So, myjobismommy... if you are having a hard time laying out the course work and finalizing subject matter and academic approach for pre-school... exactly how many years do you plan to homeschool...

Isaiah 55:8-9
I read to my daughter every time I breastfed her. She had a passion for books early! Make learning fun for her and she will enjoy it. My daughter was 2 and could tell her full name, address, telephone #, mommy, daddy and brothers name She could count to 20 and could tell you all the shapes and colors!!
I can tell you all I used was the Fridge Phonics, Leap's Alphabook and Flash Cards. I counted with her in while singing 1,2,3,4,5 once I caught a fish alive, 6,7,8,9,10 then I let it go again. Number soup, memory snacks (where I would hide fruit snacks under cups) She learned to spell her name by the Bingo Song,,, Here's how we did that..
There was a mommy who had a baby and "Name" was her name O, (now clap to every letter, as you spell out her name) etc..
Just make it fun and interesting
